Kann To Succeed Phillips As CEO At Dow Jones: More Of Same Expected


Dow Jones & Co.'s announcement this month that president and chief operating officer Peter Kann will take over Warren Phillips' duties as chief executive officer signals the company's intention to maintain its current course, at least in the short term. Like Phillips, Kann is a former newsman, and observers say he shares Phillips' conservatism.
