FactSet Adds Axioma's Linear Fixed-Income, Multi-Asset Class Models

Robert Robie, senior vice president of fixed-income analytics at FactSet, says the decision to add the models is aimed at addressing the industry's concerns around the retirement of Barclays Point risk analytics platform.

Axioma's linear fixed-income and multi-asset class model will be made available on FactSet this spring, building on a partnership that was first formed in March 2010, according to Robert Robie, senior vice president of fixed-income analytics at FactSet.

Robie tells WatersTechnology the decision to implement additional Axioma models on FactSet, which already offers the firm's fundamental and statistical equity risk models, was due to Bloomberg's acquisition of Barclays Point risk analytics
