Deutsche Asset Management Gives Portia Its Largest User Installation

FRANKFURT, Germany--Deutsche Asset Management has licensed Thomson Investment Software's Portia portfolio management system, making the Deutsche Bank Group Portia's largest client based on number of user seats, with over 350 users across three business units. Morgan Grenfell Asset Management has used Portia in its London office since 1990 while Sydney-based affiliate Axiom implemented Portia in December 1996.
The value of the license was not disclosed.
