SimCorp's investment book of record (IBOR) platform, Dimension, released the first of its two annual software updates.
The newest release features a new data warehouse model that is a standard industry model, which is run by SimCorp. It's also now possible to monitor and control risk against external parties and put in restrictions for the overall risk tolerance from holdings, unsettled transactions, cash and OTC trades.
Better integration between the front office and IBOR, support of sophisticated performance analytics in the middle and/or front office, four new dashboards, US tax lot functionality and a Thomson Reuters interface that covers static data and prices for multiple instrument types will also be made available in the latest update.
"With this latest release we are able to further support the vast data management challenge our clients are facing ─ not to mention the multiple benefits of combining the data warehouse and the IBOR to truly provide a comprehensive overview of the business," said Klaus Holse, SimCorp's CEO.
SimCorp Dimension won the 2014 Buy-Side Technology award for Best Buy-Side IBOR Platform.
Bill Murphy, CTO of Blackstone, once again joins the podcast to discuss the private equity firm's new offices, designed to house its innovations team.Subscribe to Weekly Wrap emails
