NEW YORK—The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) has begun a pilot project that will allow its floor brokers to use third-party order management systems (OMSes) to send agency orders in stocks listed on the Nasdaq Stock Market from the NYSE trading floor to execution venues other than the Big Board, exchange officials tell DWT.
