Credit Suisse Expands FX Algos to Asia

The new offering includes FX algorithms on top of an aggregated stream of liquidity for spot, forwards and swaps, explains Hani Shalabi, director of AES sales at Credit Suisse in Hong Kong.

The bank is aggregating liquidity from eight to nine venues including ECNs, interbank markets and traditional bank sources, according to Shalabi. "The markets have been volatile but we've seen very stable spreads because of the diversity of liquidity," points out Shalabi.
