Euronext, Atos to Merge IT Operations

EXCHANGE TECHNOLOGIES

PARIS—Euronext and Atos Origin are set to combine their joint venture, AtosEuronext, with Euronext.Liffe market solutions, officials tell DWT.

The two sides have agreed in principle on a plan to merge the joint venture, which was originally established in 2000 (Trading Technology Week, March 27, 2000) with the technology operations of Liffe, which Euronext acquired in 2001 (TTW, Nov. 5, 2001).

Officials from both companies say they intend to complete the deal during the second half of this year
