LONDON—Meff, the Spanish derivatives exchange, is working on an upgrade to its exchange interface, MeffAccess, that is due to go live in October of this year, officials tell DWT.
Andres Rodriguez, IT director for Meff (Mercado Espanol de Futuros Financieros), says that changes to the new release will focus on the give-up allocation procedure. Meff debuted a FIX-based version of a connectivity application program interface (API), dubbed MeffGate, last year (DWT, May 24, 2004).
