OMX, TietoEnator to Create Joint Venture
EXCHANGE TECHNOLOGIES
STOCKHOLM—Swedish exchange operator and technology provider OMX signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) last week with TietoEnator to create a joint venture (JV) company that will target solutions and services for banks and brokerage firms in Northern Europe, OMX officials say.
This comes as OMX is trying to divest its Nordic Bank and Brokers unit, but will keep its U.K. equivalent, OMX Securities Services, OMX officials say. This unit will be part of the new Market Technology division, and
