The application, called IR Mobile, will be provided free to users of the frim's contact management system, and will synchronize information between them.

Thomson Reuters also says it will launch Daily Monitor, a homepage that includes first call research, estimates, ownership data, and other proprietary content, for its ONE IR platform. The service, which was designed at the request of clients, can be personalized for targeting content relevant to the user as well as customized in terms of layout.

"Investor relations officers are busier than ever before with many constantly on the road seeking to attract capital in today's increasingly competitive markets," says William Haney, global head of IR Services at Thomson Reuters. "IR Mobile addresses their need to manage their investor activities from the road, using their iPad, iPhone or Android device. And with the upcoming launch of Daily Monitor, we are making it easier for IR professionals to quickly get to the information they need to stay informed about the latest developments most relevant to them."
