Horizon Integrates Azul’s Zing to its Trading Platform
By including Zing, Horizon will be able to reduce the latency on its trading platform and offer a jitter-free environment to its users, according to Sunnyvale, CA-based Azul Systems.

"Our clients need low-latency algorithmic trading to efficiently process the vast and growing volumes of financial data and detect and take advantage of market opportunities. Zing is a supercharger for Java-based systems ─ it has been optimized for high-transaction volumes, ultra-low latency, and consistency of performance, providing Horizon clients with the best possible trading and risk management solutions."
In accordance with the contract, Zing will replace Horizon's existing Java Virtual Machine (JVM) without any recompiling or re-architecting.
