Ullink, the Paris-based provider of trading solutions and connectivity, has announced that its CEO Laurent Useldinger is to leave the company.

Useldinger will step down to pursue "new entrepreneurial opportunities," but will remain a major shareholder in the company. Bertrand Sciard has been appointed as the firm's interim chief executive.

"We are very pleased to welcome Bertrand to the team," says Hans Gieskes, chairman of Ullink. "He brings a wealth of experience to the organization and management needed to support high-growth software companies."

Last year Ullink acquired the NYFIX and Metabit brands from NYSE Technologies.
