ICE Plans November Singapore Launch Date
Venue operator confirms November 17 launch date for ICE Futures Singapore and ICE Clear Singapore.
ICE has had a presence in Singapore since 2000, following the acquisition of the Singapore Mercantile Exchange and Singapore Mercantile Exchange Clearing Corporation.
Pending authorization from The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), ICE will expand its presence in the region with its new product list. The venue operator has also submitted a foreign trade repository application to MAS through ICE Trade Vault.
"ICE Futures Singapore will offer a range of global and regional products designed to meet the needs of market participants for efficient trading and clearing services in their local jurisdiction," says Lucas Schmeddes, president & COO of ICE Futures Singapore and ICE Clear Singapore.
