T+2 ISC Selects September 2017 Date for T+2 Implementation in US
Date dependent on successful testing in Q2, Q3 of 2017.
T+2 ISC spoke to industry participants and consulted with other global markets to select the date. The group looked to avoid high-volume days, large corporate action days, and holidays.
In February, the DTCC published a white paper, entitled "T+2 Test Approach: DTCC's High-Level Testing Framework," looking at the processes that will be required for firms making the move to T+2 and how high-level testing of exchanges, industry infrastructures and utilities would be structured.
