IPC Readies Exchange Direct Feed Network


IPC will announce connectivity to the New York Mercantile Exchange in the coming weeks, and plans to connect to Nymex parent CME Group's Chicago Mercantile Exchange and Chicago Board of Trade markets, as well as Nasdaq, BIDS Trading and the BATS Exchange over the coming year.

The vendor decided to begin with Nymex based on customer demand, which has also guided the choice of the subsequent markets, while Nymex was also seeking an alternative carrier to distribute its data, IPC officials say.
