Quotron Set To Begin Charging For F/X Trader This Month

Quotron Systems Inc. is set this month to begin billing users of its F/X Trader conversational trading system for the interbank foreign exchange market. At the same time, Quotron's official list of user sites is drawing close to that of Telerate Systems Inc., rival for second place behind Reuters Holdings PLC in the forex trading systems arena.

Quotron launched F/X Trader in spring 1990. Until now, the system has been available free of charge to bank users as part of Quotron's plan to establish
