Telerate Buys Bankers Network; Targets Autumn Release

As expected (TST, July 8), Dow Jones Telerate has completed its acquisition of the Bankers Network, a UK-based startup. The Bankers Network, which was designed as a low-cost forex and money trading system, runs on a private network utilizing Internet technologies. Telerate plans to release the system this fall.
The acquisition of The Bankers Network by Telerate was not much of a surprise, since the two parties have been in discussions for some time. The system is comprised of four parts: Forex
