PI System's NetI Opens Closed Application; Offers Transparent Access By Remote Control

THIS WEEK'S LEAD STORIES

PI Systems Ltd. of New York has a simple, effective, and fundamentally different solution to the problem of distributed access to applications running on stand-alone PCs.

Known as NetI, the product gives any user on a local area network instant access to or control of applications running on suitably equipped PCs anywhere on the network. Like an infinitely elastic pair of hands (and eyeballs), NetI allows users to virtually seat themselves in front of the application.
