Trade Alert Boosts Datacenter Capacity

Trade Alert, a New York-based provider of online and instant messaging-based trade data and analytics, is migrating to new datacenters to add capacity and allow it to build out new services.

Until now, the vendor hosted its servers within the datacenter of its data provider Activ Financial at 80 Rector Street in Manhattan, with a backup run from Activ's center in Chicago. But as Trade Alert has found itself requiring more space, it has taken its own space in Equinix's NY2 datacenter in Secaucus
