Burgundy Enters Interxion

Nordic multilateral trading facility Burgundy has moved its matching engine from the center of Stockholm to two facilities on the outskirts of the city to cut latency for bank clients by locating in the same centers commonly used by trading firms and service providers.

The presence at Interxion’s facility in the city and at the Verizon datacenter used by Nasdaq OMX will allow Burgundy to offer co-location while halving latency for network connections to around 48 microseconds, Interxion
