Chi-X Japan Preps Matching Engine Upgrade

Tokyo-headquartered Chi-X Japan is in the midst of a major upgrade to its matching engine, which will bring its message latency to under 500 microseconds, according to officials.

“It is being tested with clients and we expect to have it in production this autumn,” says Yasuo Hamakake, representative director and CTO of Chi-X Japan. “It will be the same platform that will run Chi-X Australia when it goes live at the end of October.”
