Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) has tapped over-the-counter (OTC) derivative post-trade services provider TriOptima, owned by interdealer broker Icap, to provide data verification and portfolio reconciliation of trading data through its Swap Data Repository (SDR).

CME's SDR will be connected to TriOptima's triResolve OTC derivatives reconciliation platform for reconciliation and clearing of credit, rates, foreign exchange (FX) and commodities transactions.

"This new service both contributes to data accuracy and creates opportunities for efficient workflow for industry participants, including performing regulatory reconciliations," says Raf Pritchard, CEO of TriOptima. "We believe that this kind of cooperation and inter-connectivity is a logical step, leveraging existing, proven services to meet regulatory goals and thereby serving client needs in the new post-trade landscape."
