Chi-X Canada chief executive Dan Kessous says the ATS is rolling out the service in response to increased demand for its data as a result of Chi-X Canada gaining a higher share of Canadian trading volumes. Together, its Chi-X Canada and CX2 markets account for 22 percent of Canadian trading volume. While the ATS received ad-hoc requests for historical data in the past, Kessous says it pulled data together to meet these requests as needed, and did not have a normalized way to handle detailed
