Perseus Taps Fastback to Bounce Wireless Data Around Buildings

Fastback's IBR service allows Perseus to reflect wireless data signals off buildings where line-of-sight is obstructed.

On behalf of an unnamed client, Perseus used Fastback's IBR to reflect a wireless signal off the Freedom Tower and neighboring buildings to circumvent a straight-line path obstructed by two city block-sized buildings and implement a 760 Megabits-per-second connection in less than an hour, and replaced the client's existing fiber connection within a day.

The IBR service provides latency of less than 500 microseconds.
