Saxo Hands Over Keys to Technology Toolsets with OpenAPI Initiative

Release of OpenAPI opens Saxo trading platform and back-office infrastructure to white-label clients and external developers.

For some time, the capital markets have lagged behind their counterparts in other industries in embracing open, collaborative platforms designed to allow end-users to customize the look and feel of their trading front-ends. Application program interface (API) releases are relatively scarce in the capital markets, with proprietary or "locked down," off-the-shelf models still holding sway when it comes to institutional trading technologies.
