LONDON--Reuters will use software from Siebel Systems to automate and support its global sales and service administration, creating a single source of customer information accessible throughout the organization.

Reuters is currently operating a decentralized sales model where regions manage their own sales and service strategy. Sales staff visiting a international company that may be a prospect in New York, for instance, would not necessarily know whether that company was already a client
