Daiwa Plans To Deploy Odd-Lot Trading System For Treasuries

Daiwa Securities America Inc. plans to introduce an automated execution system for odd lots of U.S. Treasury securities. The system, known as the Odd-Lot Machine, was developed by New York-based software house Spectrasoft Inc. under contract to Daiwa. The Odd-Lot Machine will be made available to Daiwa clients and counterparties as soon as no- action assurance is received from the Securities and Exchange Commission's market regulation division.
