FXD/Telerate Aims At Low End With Shrink-Wrapped Product

Telerate Systems Inc. has released a packaged version of its ProfitMaker digital data distribution system aimed at small trading rooms. Like ProfitMaker, the system -- the Shrink-Wrapped Product (SWP) -- was developed by FXD/Telerate, the former FX Development Group, which Telerate acquired in 1989.

SWP was introduced recently in London. Sources at FXD/Telerate say that the system is slated for launch in the U.S., although a date for its introduction hasn't been set.
