ChartIQ, Xignite Form Partnership to Release Financial Widgets

The two sides pair on four different widgets based on customer demands.

HTML5 is a key component of the release of financial widgets from the new partnership between ChartIQ and Xignite.

The two firms developed four widgets ─ MarketX, InvestorX, ChartX and CalendarX ─ that can be used for financial websites, investor relations sites and mobile apps.

Dan Schleifer, co-founder and president of ChartIQ, tells Sell-Side Technology the partnership spawned from mutual customers' overlapping demands. As Schleifer puts it, people who need charts tend to need market data and vice versa.
