Financial software firm Anvil, vendor of the Denarius trading system, is to open a New York office in mid-2002 to provide sales and support functions for its recently established development centre in Toronto. The office will house around five staff. There is no word yet on who will head the office, but a spokesperson says Anvil will appoint from within.
