T. Rowe Price Deploys Merrin's Trading System For 15 On Equity Desk

BALTIMORE, Md.-based T. Rowe price Associates Inc. has installed Merrin Financial Inc.'s Dos-based Merrin Financial Trading Platform (MFTP) to support some 15 users on the firm's equities desk. At T. Rowe, MFTP will replace a proprietary PC-based trading system.
Meanwhile, according to head of T. Rowe trading Andy Brooks, the firm continues to evaluate systems to support its fixed-income trading desk.
