Dutch banking group Insinger de Beaufort completed a move into its new London premises at the beginning of the year. In a pattern familiar to any technology division, the move was an opportunity for technological improvements and a rethink of the firm's IT policies. John Bryant, manager of information, communications and technology (ICT) at the bank, masterminded the new infrastructure—and the revamp of the systems used in the dealing room.
The move began in May 2004 and was completed in January
