Wachovia to Shuffle Blades

FRONT PAGE: TRADING FLOOR TECHNOLOGIES

NEW YORK—Wachovia is experimenting with new blade server technology in its three trading floors that are currently housed in the historic Seagram Building on Manhattan's Park Avenue, officials at the bank tell DWT.

The Park Avenue office opened seven months ago, but technologists at Wachovia's investment banking division are hard at work on expansion plans. The bank also has a new building under construction a few blocks from its Charlotte, N.C. corporate headquarters.
