Kimsey: E-Trading Takes Center Stage

LONDON—Electronic trading now represents more than 50 percent of trading volumes in the U.K. and is set for more growth over the coming years, according to a new survey conducted by Kimsey Consulting, a research and advisory company.
Researchers have also found that e-trading accounts for the biggest share in the technology budgets of many firms. The Kimsey survey focuses on the trading technology spending habits of about 200 firms representing 10,000 trading positions in the U.K.
