Reuters Faces BCP Questions

Reuters is facing questions about its business continuity plans after customers in Europe and the US were left without data for hours last Tuesday, Oct. 12, following problems at its London-based technical center.

The outage, which began at 3:34pm London time (10:34am EST), meant that data was not being properly collected from dealing platforms and distributed via Reuters' datafeed. The outage affected all Reuters' data services, including European currencies data, European exchange data
