Deutsche Bourse And Major Banks Partner To Launch Bond Index

FRANKFURT--Deutsche Bourse executive board member Christoph Lammersdorf was in town last week to promote the Deutsche Bourse's latest product, a real-time European bond index family based on contributed prices from five major banks.

The Deutsche Borse claims that it is the first real-time multi-contributor index. Five major market participants, which Lammersdorf says make up 40 per cent of the market are, ABN Amro, BNP Paribas Group, Deutsche Bank, Dresdner Bank, and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.
