Nasdaq Sets ViewSuite Strategy

Nasdaq plans to reduce the price for its ViewSuite set of data products and simplify its data product structure, pending Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approval, an official tells Inside Market Data.

Nasdaq has requested approval to lower fees for ViewSuite from $150 to $70 for professional users in order to make it more attractive to subscribers of Level II data.

"We want to get the vast majority of Level II users to take it [ViewSuite]," says Adena Friedman, executive vice-president

Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
