Bain Refco To Offer Blind Brokerage For Thermal Coal On AAP Reuters Terminals

An Australian commodities broker plans to begin disseminating price quotations for thermal coal on Reuters terminals this month in an effort to create a screen-based market.
Bain Refco Inc. will display firm bids and offers, last-sale prices and volume on AAP Reuters, which is carried on the Reuter Monitor network. Prices will be anonymous, so a trader must contact Bain Refco by telephone to hit a bid or take an offer. Bain Refco is jointly owned by Australian investment bank Bain & Co. and Refco
