UBS Equity Derivs Poised To Dump Telekurs For Reuters

UBS Securities Inc. is set to yank the Telekurs data that its equity derivatives traders use in New York and replace it with Reuters' Marketfeed 2000 and, possibly, Selectfeed data feeds.

UBS has ordered the communications lines to accommodate the Reuters feeds and intends to begin testing them imminently. Should Reuters prove itself during the extensive stress-testing that UBS plans, says UBS Securities vice president Hadar Pedhazur, Telekurs' Ticker "will be out of here." The equity derivatives
