J.P. Morgan Seeks 'More Influence' By Joining EJV

J.P Morgan & Co., in an effort to increase its influence over the activities of the EJV Partners L.P., has announced its intention to become the venture's eighth partner, subject to the approval of the Federal Reserve Board. At the same time, the firm is involved in separate negotiations with the venture concerning the distribution by the EJV of J.P. Morgan's fixed-income pricing information.
According to J.P. Morgan managing director Jean-Louis Bravard, should the firm's bid for partnership win
