Reuters Yields Real-Time Updates To Telerate; SOP Feed For Rich’s Triarch Used As Lever

After long and bitter negotiations, Telerate Systems, Inc. has begun to install simultaneous update devices--"binco boxes"--at consenting Reuters data contribution sites world-wide.
In a move which could significantly alterthe balance of powerbetween the rivalfinancial information supliers, Reuters Holdings PLC bargained away simultaneous electronic access to its contributor network in exchange for permission to handle Telrete’s SOP (standard output protocol) feed through Rich Inc.'s Triarch.
