Nasdaq Sets TOPO Rise, Corrects Wilshire Index Values

Nasdaq OMX has increased the recommended bandwidth required for its Top of PHLX Options best bid and offer and last sale datafeed by 30 percent, from 50 megabits per second (Mbps) to 65 Mbps, effective from the fourth quarter of this year, to accommodate growth in message traffic and planned system enhancements. The feed is compressed using the FAST Protocol, but Nasdaq has advised latency-sensitive clients that they may wish to increase their bandwidth beyond the recommended amount.
