CBOE Preps Level 1 Multicast, Ticker Upgrade

The Chicago Board Options Exchange will launch a new top-of-book datafeed and upgrade the underlying hardware that supports its ticker plant in the fourth quarter of this year to take advantage of increased capacity for data processing and distribution to clients.

The exchange developed the new uncompressed multicast feed in response to demand from members for a direct feed of its options data in a format consistent with that of many other exchange datafeeds, says CBOE chief technology officer

Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
