OTC Markets Readies Low-Bandwidth Feed
OTC Markets, the New York-based over-the-counter equities market formerly known as the Pink Sheets and Pink OTC, is preparing to launch a binary-format datafeed that requires less bandwidth in response to new regulations that have increased trade and data volumes on its market.
The exchange plans to release the new feed around the end of this month, which will provide a 60 percent saving over the bandwidth required by the current Unicast feed, based on message volume peaks of 3,000 messages per
