Xignite Adds Equities to Azure
Web services data vendor Xignite last week announced it has added real-time data from its XigniteBATSLastSale web service—which provides on-demand access to last sale prices traded on the BATS Exchange—to the DataMarket segment of Microsoft’s Azure Marketplace of on-demand, online services, enabling traders and investors to capture equities data into spreadsheets, using Microsoft Excel’s PowerPivot feature or into applications or websites via APIs.
