Thornburg Selects Markit EDM

Vendor to help investment manager with data quality and governance issues

Markit has announced that Thornburg Investment ($56 billion assets under management) will be implementing Markit's enterprise data management (EDM) solution to address data quality and governance issues in the firm's legacy applications and manual processes.

Spiros Giannaros, Markit EDM managing director, says Thornburg is implementing a centralized platform to solve issues typical to many large firms with reference data siloed in point systems.
