Markit Bows Infrastructure Bond Index
The new indexes will provide a benchmark for tracking the performance of infrastructure investments, via companies in the energy, telecoms, transportation and utilities sectors.
Created in collaboration with Deutsche Asset Management, the indexes include companies in the energy, telecommunications, transportation and utilities sectors, and will provide a benchmark for tracking the performance of infrastructure investments that meet specific classification criteria.
Officials says growing interest in the asset class meant it was necessary to develop a set of infrastructure debt indexes which will provide investors with transparency and allow them to determine the role
