Knight Capital made a notable appearance in The Wall Street Journal on Tuesday. It wasn't in the obituary section, and nowhere were the words "glitch," "catastrophic," or "I can't believe it took us 45 minutes to shut off that &$#*@%$ thing."
Knight's appearance was instead a full-page ad with a simple message: Thank you. Written against a plain gray background, with the Knight logo in black, 63 words thanked the industry, the customers and stakeholders, and the employees for standing by the
