As expected, bankrupt Financial News Network Inc. (FNN) last week made public an ambitious reorganization plan for its market-data subsidiaries, including Shark Information Services Inc. and Data Broadcasting Corp.

The plan reveals a revamped Shark marketing strategy that aggressively targets regional retail brokerage firms with a new service called Barracuda. Though Shark made some inroads among retail brokers prior to the bankruptcy filings, its strength has to date been among high-end equities
