IPTC Readies NewsML 2
The International Press Telecommunication Council is readying the launch of Version 2 of NewsML, an XML-based process of tagging news stories and accompanying items, such as photos or graphics, to identify what information appears in a story, according to IPTC board director Walt Baranger, who spoke at last week's XML for the Financial Industry conference, hosted by the FISD.
